Bicentennial Proclamation
On April 15th, 2007, at the Mass in St. Patrick's Cathedral, Vicar General, Bishop Robert A. Brucato, formally proclaimed the beginning of our Bicentennial Year by reading a Proclamation from Edward Cardinal Egan. His Eminence then signed the proclamation and it has been committed to the Archdiocesan archives at St. Joseph's Seminary, Dunwoodie, Yonkers, New York.

Copies of this document were distributed to every parish throughout the Archdiocese of New York to be read during each Mass celebrated that day.
